Thesis title

A study of post-cranial indicators of primate sexual dimorphism: implications for understanding hominin palaeoecology.

Dr. Matt Grove and Dr. Jessica Pearson.

Research summary

My research focuses on the development of new methodologies for estimating primate body mass, with implications for determining sexual dimorphism in hominin species. The approach taken will involve the collection of a large range of skeletal metric data from primate osteological collections, as well as developing rigorous estimation procedures.
