Research Summary

This practice-based research will investigate current sensory exhibition spaces and displays in science museums relating to sensory processing and learning preferences in children with ADHD and ASD. Through co-design and the evaluation of sensory science exhibition interventions with child visitors with ADHD and ASD this research will aim to enhance science engagement and inclusive learning. This is a Collaborative Doctoral Award in partnership with the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and the Design for Health and Wellbeing research group at Manchester School of Art.
