It was fantastic. It met my expectations and a lot of help was provided along the way. The training opportunities were good and I asked for several funding bouts which were granted. This helped enormously for both necessary fieldwork and attending conferences.

Creative & Performing Arts
I appreciated the opportunities and support it provides, which I benefited from immensely. Funding for conference attendance enabled me to attend and present at conferences throughout the UK. The NWCDTP’s maternity policy enabled me to start a family while pursuing my PhD which I am extremely grateful for as otherwise I would have had to choose between my career and starting my family.
