Research Summary

This PhD seeks to explore the work-based experiences of creative practitioners who identify as first-generation arts workers and to visually and textually document the instances of unwitnessed labours in their social art practices. These documents will contribute to a better understanding of the creative, emotional, managerial and administrative labour of these arts workers and how it interacts with their first-generation experiences.
