Supervisors

Research Summary

My research aims to investigate language contact between Latin and Greek in inscriptions from imperial Greece, mostly from the Greek perspective (Latin influence on Greek). The starting point is the epigraphic material produced in Corinth during the imperial era, from its re-foundation as a Roman colony in 44 B.C. (which followed its destruction in 146 B.C.) through Late Antiquity (approximately until A.D. 600).

Research Interests

Language contact in antiquity, Ancient Greek linguistics and dialectology, Indo-European linguistics, Latin linguistics.
