UKRI-Funded Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Project: ‘Supporting the Next Generation of Humanities Research Leaders’
Call for PhD Alumni Q&A: AI and EDI Expertise and Experience
We are looking to recruit up to 5 AHRC DTP-funded PhD alumni to take part in a relaxed Q&A session with current PhD students over lunch at our in-person event (University of Salford) on Thursday 9 April 2026 @ 12:30-2pm.
The aim of the Q&A is to give the students insight into different research areas, post-PhD experiences, and career prospects specifically within the areas of AI and/or EDI.
What’s Involved?
- Showcase your research area, expertise, and experiences of working in AI and/or EDI following your own PhD studies
- Network with and inspire our current PhD students
- Receive a nominal £100 payment to cover time and travel
If you are interested in supporting us with the event, please fill in this short form (containing all details) by Monday 9 March @ 5pm GMT. You need to have completed your own PhD to apply.
To provide students with a variety of perspectives, we will internally select a small group representing different subject areas and experiences of working in the areas of AI and EDI post-PhD. All applicants will be notified by Monday 16 March.
