As you probably already know, registration is up and running for the Arts and Humanities Postgraduate Conference: https://artsandhumanitiespgconference.wordpress.com/conference-programme-and-registration/
As part of the student committee organising the event, I have enjoyed seeing all of the planning from the last few months come together. The two day conference on the 12th and 13th October is not only a great chance for our consortium to come together and welcome the new cohorts, but to also meet other arts and humanities students and talk through various themes and projects. As students of the consortium we are in the fortunate position to be able to attend an event tailored to us, where we can present and discuss quality student-led research. The programme of events is diverse, with sessions including papers about interactive music technology, the perception of the British monarchy in the media as well as the analysis of gender in Iron Age burials, amongst many others! The committee has endeavoured to bring together a wide range of subject matters in the arts and humanities and will provide a fantastic networking opportunity across disciplines, as can be seen in the programme by following the above link. I am very excited to join you at the conference, seeing old and new faces alike and I will be using social media to aid with discussions on the day.
See you then,
